Kokonoe Electric Co. was established in January 1953 as a producer of electrical power products. In 1966, they began producing and selling electrical Kokonoe fuses at their Kawasaki office. Their specialty is producing low voltage electrical fuses in both alternating current and direct current. Low voltage fuses are very common in electrical systems and they come in numerous styles, shapes and sizes and typically have a voltage rating less than or equal to 1,500 volts. These Kokonoe fuses are relatively small in physical size and extremely diverse in application.
The company’s product line quickly progressed due to the increase in both factory and office automation. One of their main products called the Kokonoe Fuse has been gaining great popularity with customers as a protecting type fuse used for electric power supply boards in communication equipment, control boards related to electric power, and in the controllers of electric work vehicles. These BFS, BHS, BM fuses are ideal for protection, such as direct current, electrical circuit and thyristor.
