LITTELFUSE ELECTRICAL FUSES

Littelfuse electrical fuses Class RK1 LLNRKLittelfuse is an international corporation dedicated to serving customers worldwide with innovative circuit protection products that consistently surpass commonly accepted performance standards. Since the 1920, Littelfuse has continued to design and manufacture patented circuit protection innovations that are now the standards in the electrical, electronic and automation, and military industries. Innovative concepts such as the award winning Littelfuse JTD_ID Class J indicator fuse, the smallest time delay 60 Amp CCMR, and the 600V AC/DC LDC Class L fuse are examples of recent products that are rapidly moving Littelfuse into global electrical circuit protection leadership. Littelfuse electrical fuses are offered in a variety of types as noted below.

Overview of Littelfuse Electrical Fuses

  • Littelfuse Powr-Pro – The POWR-PRO series provides superior current limiting protection with innovative, tested designs to prevent or reduce electrical system damage. Powr-Pro also reduces inventory by standardizing system protecting provide visual blown fuse indication with LLSRK_ID, JTD_ID, FLSR_ID, and IDSR indicator fuses.
  • Littelfuse Powr-Speed – Full Range High-Speed Fuses: Fuses in this category offer protection to both overload and short-circuit overcurrent conditions and have an assigned utilization category symbol gR. The first letter ‘g’ denotes full range protection while the second letter ‘R’ denotes semiconductor device application. Partial Range High-Speed Fuses: Fuses in this category offer protection to only short-circuit overcurrent condition and have an assigned utilization category symbol aR. In this case, the first letter ‘a’ denotes partial range protection while the second letter ‘R’ denotes semiconductor device application. Littelfuse offers this High-Speed Fuse Technical Application Guide.
  • Littelfuse Green Label – The Green label fuses provide superior current limiting from 1/10-600 amps. Type II “no damage” coordinating with NEMA and IEC motor circuits. Blown fuse indication LLSRK_ID and JTD_ID compact protection for motor circuits JTD and CCMR.
  • Littelfuse Red Label – UL listed 600V AC/DC fuses – The red labeled Littlefuse electrical fuses are the only UL listed 600V AC/DC fuses with 1/10-2000 amps, now with electrical blown fuse indication.

The all new LLSRK_ID series electrical fuse is the most advanced Arc Flash Class RK1 fuse available providing unparalleled performance and protection to modern circuits. The patented indication technology provides instant identification of blown fuse greatly enhancing system up-time, while the precision formed short circuit elements virtually eliminate damage to components form unexpected electrical faults.

2000A 600V TD L FUSE   KLPC series POWR-PRO™ fuses provide ideal over current protection for circuits from 200 through 6000 amperes. KLPC series POWR-PRO™ fuses specification-grade construction and performance meet or exceed the most stringent project specifications: 99.9% pure silver links, silver-plated copper end bells, glass-reinforced melamine bodies, O-ring seals between body and end bells, and granular quartz fillers. KLPC series POWR-PRO™ fuses are the only UL listed Class L fuses that provide a minimum of ten seconds time delay at 500% rated current and are also as current limiting as the fastest Class L fuse on the market. On average, the peak let-through currents of KLPC series fuses are 10% less than any other "time-delay" Class L fuse.   FEATURES:
  • Eliminate unnecessary downtime
  • KLPC POWR-PRO™ series fuses' time delay withstands system surges and keeps your circuits in service.
  • Best protection for system components
  • Maximum current limitation means less equipment and system damage when short circuits occur
  • Coordinates with other system components
  • Maximum coordination with fuses and circuit breakers both on the line side and load side of the fuses
  • Eliminate need to oversize fuses
  • May permit the use of smaller, less-expensive switches
  • 300 kA Interrupting Rating

APPLICATIONS

  • Service switches
  • Switchboard mains and feeders
  • Bolted pressure contact switches
  • Motor control center mains
  • Large motor branch circuits
  • UL Listed series-rated protection for molded case circuit breaker panelboards and loadcenters
  • Primary and secondary protection for transformers
  • Protection of power circuit breakers
